One of the Highest Bids Ever!

Iila, I want to see you after the show. I have a surfboard I want to give you a good price on! If you think a surfboard is $4500, because you bid $9000 on two of them; I am going to give you the bargain of your life. I got one that I'm gonna give you, and I'm only doing this 'cause it's you, I'm going to give it to you for $3900!

April Fool's Day! This week's theme for the site is the 1983 April Fool's day opening to The Price is Right! In today's update, I just want to remind everyone that the Program Guide is online, as well as my Discussion Forum. I've also opened up my new theme for the site, Game Show Announcers, and this week's announcer I decided to choose was Johnny Olson! I've put up a few pics, and a brief biography of his Game Show history, so check that out. :) (Also, my Birthday is on April 2nd.. The day after April Fool's Day...) :) -- And that's it for today's update. Make sure to check out my other sites that I'm also working on, Mystic's RollerCoaster Tycoon Source at http://surf.to/rct and Mystic's ExpressVu Information Source at http://go.to/expressvu.

First of all I'd like to wish you all a very happy St. Patrick's Day! The first theme that we're having, since it is St. Patrick's Day, I've decided to put up a "Golden Road" theme on the site. As the Irish saying goes, there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and by the look of that car, it's true! (If you're able to win it.) And I'd think it'd be pretty hard to guess the price of a $30,000 car when the going price for cars back in the 70's was just over $4,000! :) -- I've added a few links to the site. Ofcourse the CBS "Price is Right" site, and where would these classics be without Game Show Network! -- If you'd like your links posted up on my site, just let me know and we can exchange links, and/or banners. :) And that's it for today's update. Take a look around the site and let me know what you think in my Discussion Forum, or by E-Mail!

I've changed the site all over, once again. I want it to look perfect. So as you can see, I've already done 5 major changes to the site, and a whole lot of minor changes. So now I'm at version 5.0. If you're really that interested, you can always look back in the archives to see where we began, and where we are today. (Actually, this has all been done in a matter of a few weeks.) When I first began designing this site, I had no idea what it would look like. I wanted it to look different from my other sites that I've created and are currently active: http://surf.to/rct and http://go.to/expressvu, which used to be different, and now they have similar looks, since I found that it looked better having them similar, but different at the same time. (Art Work?) Anyways, as you can see on the left, I've made a little table which has a list of the places you can visit on my site. The first place, Home, will, as the name says, take you back home, which is right where you are now. The second place which is called Discussion Forum is a place where you can talk with others about similar intrests. I've created a few general discussion areas, such as Family Feud Discussion, and The Price is Right Discusssion. However there is also a General Game Show Discussion for the Present Game Shows and one for the Classic Game Shows. If there's enough discussion about a certain show, then I will create a separate place for that. And I've also created a General all around Discussion, which allows anyone to talk about anything they want, unrelated to Game Shows... Next area is the Game Show Network Program Guide. This is where you can find what comes on Game Show Network 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so you'll be sure to find a show you want to watch, and now you'll be able to see when it comes on. Next section is my Game of the Week. This place is where you can read about my pick of the week for favourite Game Show, or you'll be able to read more about Game Show Network's choice for Game of the Week. Inside will include info on rules of the game, host and announcer of the game and if I can, I'll put on the celebrities that are in the game, also, if possible, I'll include the results and prizes given away, so look forward to all that. The next two sections will be devoted to Game Show Hosts and Game Show Announcers. I'll have some bios and pics of Game Show Announcers and Hosts that I can find out on. And now the last four groups are News Archives, which will have all of the previous site news updates stored by date, next is teh Site History, which gives a little background on how this site began, and what it looked like prior to the most recent look. Next is Links, which I'll include all of your links that you exchange with me, and finally E-Mail, which is where you can e-mail me with info, tips, or questions about Game Shows. That's about it for what my site has to offer right now. Note that some things are not yet available to view right now, but they'll be around soon. Also, in the near future, I'll add more sections to the site as I think of ideas for them. Enjoy your stay and let me know what you think, and sign my guestbook. :) And thank you for visiting Mystic's Classic Game Show Source!

We are now, semi-officially open! There are still some technical aspects to check over again. But soon this site will start really coming together, so look forward to that... I've put in an application to join the Game Show Web Ring, however, I was told that my site has to be fully up and running to be added to his list. So, for those of you who are visiting from the TPIR Update Discussion Forum. :) Good to see you all here. I'm glad you all could come and visit my site. You are the first ones to check this site out, since that's the only place I've been giving my site link to. I hope you all have time to spend a few minutes in my Discussion Forum, I really need some visitors to make the place all the better. Also, I would really appreciate it if you could all leave me your comments to my E-Mail address above. It'll help me out a lot in how to improve and make this site all the better. So far online, we have the LINKS Section, (However, no links are yet there, but I'm sure the TPIR Update will be the first), and I have the Game Show Network Program Guide, for those that wish to have a quick glance at what shows are coming on Game Show Network. When you check that out, you'll see that I included more than just the time it comes on, I've also included the Production Year, Production Company, Host and Announcer. However at the moment, the Game Show Hosts and the Game Show Announcers sections are not yet available. I plan on adding a section called "Game of the Week", which will usually talk about Game Show Network's Sunday Night at 11:30pm Game, or a gameshow that I think deserves more recognition. If there's anything else I've missed, please let me know, e-mail me, or write to my Discussion Forum. And that's about it for the first Official Update at Mystic's Classic Game Show Source!
