Well, there's good news and there's bad news, and also there's a bit of news that I don't know yet if it's good or bad... Stay tuned to find out... Also this Saturday GSN is going to have another Marathon of "Game Show Saturday Night", another week where I can safely say, you won't miss much. It's a marathon of Newlywed Game. (Something we have more than enough of as it is!) Stay tuned for next week's Saturday Night Marathon to find out what's going to air. Next in the GSN News, Sunday Night (Hour) in Black & White's programs for tonight will be "I've Got a Secret" at 10:00pm and "What's My Line?" at 10:30pm Eastern for this huge one hour long Sunday Night (Hour) in Black & White... (Yes, I know, I'm being a bit sarcastic and bitter sounding... But GSN took my main attraction away from my site, my GSN Game of the Week, now I have nothing...)

I've Got A Secret

My Game of the Week:
Beat the Clock (1950's version) - (OFF AIR)

This program comes on before GSN's Game of the week, Sunday Night (Hour) at 11:00pm, replacing The original Price is Right until contract negotiations continue for the rights to TPIR Reruns return. Click here for the Full Review about my Game of the Week.

GSN's Game of the Week:
Super Jeopardy (1990) - Last Game of the Week...

This program comes on just after Beat the Clock, Sunday Night (Hour) at 11:30pm. This week's Game of the Week is the 1990 Tournament of Super Jeopardy. Not at all what I had expected, I expected a B&W MG-BT (Black and White, Mark Goodson - Bill Todman) show. You know what I mean, a really great classic to end off the final Show for Sunday Night (Hour)'s Black and White. Jeopardy is a good show and all, but anyways, you know what I mean... News Update:

Today's Update, I've updated the site a bit, I'm still trying to align the menu bar on the left with the main page on the right, hopefully it'll look good now. Next in the news, http://www.classicgameshows.com is online and operational, so if you find it easier to type that in than to type in http://go.to/classicgameshows, use any of them, you're free to use both. Shortly another domain name will arrive for this site, minus that banner frame at the bottom of the screen. Annoying thing isn't it... Well, my new domain will be http://www.dthcanada.com, it will not lead you to this site directly, but it'll be just a click away, and you won't need to see the banner frame at the bottom of the screen any longer. Check out the Game Show Network News Announcement just below to find out what's soon going to happen to Game Show Network in the near future. And that's it for today's update. Please take a look at my Discussion Forum, and Chat Room! And sign my Guestbook, just to the left of the counter at the bottom of the page. :)

Hey Everyone! Remember to set your VCRs for tonight's Game Show Network Marathon! It's "Game Show Saturday Night" on Game Show Network. Tonight's event begins at 8pm Eastern and ends at 4am Eastern, so remember to go out and get one of those 8 hour tapes (T160) I'm all out of them (again, yes, that's right again... I buy them separately, and when I hear that another marathon is going on the next week, I go out and buy one.. I'm sure these marathons will continue for another couple weeks atleast.) so I'll have to go out and pick one up before 8pm. Tonight's "Game Show Saturday Night" is a night of Jeopardy, Tournament of Champions Week! Including. Once again, remember to set your VCRs, and get an 8 hour tape, 8pm to 4am, only on Game Show Network!!!

Today's news update, the final Game of the Week on the last Sunday Night in Black in White: Super Jeopardy. Not at all what I had expected, I expected a B&W MG-BT (Black and White, Mark Goodson Bill Todman) show. You know what I mean, a really great show to end off the final Show for Sunday Night's Black and White. Jeopardy is a good show and all, but anyways, you know what I mean... As usual, and unfortunately for the last time, I've updated the Game of the Week section...

GSN's Game of the Week:
Match Game (1990)

This program comes on just after Beat the Clock, Sunday night at 11:30pm. This week's Game of the Week was Match Game 90, and no Gene Rayburn to be seen. :( The show was good all the same, but still did not have the humorous feeling that Gene brought to the show. A few changes were made to the game, such as contestants were only allowed to stay for 5 days, and the same two contestants played for the whole half hour.. Game Show Network News Announcement!!!

Copyright 2000: Game Show Enterprises & Sony Television

This next news announcement I'm sure none of you will enjoy hearing too much. Lately I've heard rumours that Game Show Network was deciding to get rid of "Sunday Nights in Black & White"... Well, it seems the rumours have been confirmed... By taking a look at the Game Show Network official program guide, I see that The Black & White shows are now limited to 1 hour on Sunday Night, from 9:00pm until 10:00pm. It is said that the Black & White shows that we're all watching will appear in a rotation, such as Beat the Clock will be one week, but we might not see it again for another month, and the same with Two For the Money, Tattle Tales, What's My Line, To Tell The Truth, however, the worst is still yet to come. My website has a main theme to it, Classic Game Shows, and the way Game Show Network is changing to New and Original shows, it really puts this site out of business. To top that off, the main topic usually on this site is the "Game of the Week" which will no longer be seen on Game Show Network. This makes me mad. A quote from GSN states that "We need to improve the ratings". Well, wait until you hear what shows are replacing "Sunday Nights in Black & White". "All New 3's a Crowd", and two episodes of "The Newlywed Game". To think it wasn't bad enough having our favourite night of the week taken off the air, they had to replace it with shows that we can watch 7 times a day, every other day!!! I wish there was something more that we could do, but alas, it seems the decision has been made, and GSN feels that we the viewers are not seeing enough Newlywed Game and 3's a Crowd, so they thought they'd be kind enough to make us watch more... So this is one of those times I recommend you all set your VCRs for this last and final moment of Game Show Network's finest 4 hours. Perhaps some day Game Show Network will see that they've made a grave mistake, but perhaps they won't... They seem so afraid of losing ratings, yet they continue to put on shows that we either don't need, or shows that we're sick of watching. Another example is Hollywood Squares, it's on 4 times daily, but it's the same episode, that means that they have 3 empty slots for daily Game Shows, why should it have to be that shows that come on only once a week or those that are first to go. Maybe they know what they're doing, because I sure don't! (Who's the programming coordinator, those Vault Guys or what?)

I've updated the Game of the Week section, so be sure to check it out. This week's Game of the Week was Match Game 90, and no Gene Rayburn to be seen. :( The show was good all the same, but still did not have the humorous feeling that Gene brought to the show. A few changes were made to the game, such as contestants were only allowed to stay for 5 days, and the same two contestants played for the whole half hour, well, check out the full details on last week's Game of the Week in my GSN Game of the Week Section! :) And finally, we've got ourselves a domain name, an easier way to access this site. Please check us out at http://www.classicgameshows.com. Note that http://go.to/classicgameshows and http://mars.spaceports.com/~mystic/cgs/index.htm will all continue functioning as normal, the only thing is that this new domain name will have a small menu bar at the bottom of the screen, which is the sponsor of the person that gave me the free domain. (I guess you can't really get anything for free anymore these days). And lastly, remember to continue voting for me whenever you can to the Game Show Top 100. You'll find the icon link to this site at the bottom of this page, or on the left menu bar of each page on this site. Thank you once again for all of your continued support, you all make it possible for me to continue, and for those interested in helping me even more, there is a banner link at the bottom of the page, if you could just take a few seconds to click on it, and if you wish, close the window after the page loads. (It opens up a new window) Thanks Again, and have a great week! :)
