Today's Update, For today's news check out the news below for Game Show Network News and Announcements. For the Game Show Marathon, Saturday's Marathon will be a Night full of Bob Eubanks (Again?!?) and yet another night of The Newlywed Game! (Check out Saturday Night's Program lineup just below to find out what's on the block for tonight! And the "Sunday Night (Hour) in Black & White" this week is "What's My Line?" at 10:00pm Eastern. The Panel this evening are Arlene Francis, Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf, Steve Lawrence, the Mystery Guest is Victor Borge, and moderator is John Charles Daly. This episode of "What's My Line?" originally aired on December 15,1963. At 10:30pm Eastern is "The Name's The Same", The Panel this evening are Joan Alexander, Gene Rayburn, Bill Stern the Special Guest is Joe Louis, and the moderator and host is Robert Q. Lewis. This past Thursday there was a marathon of Family Feud with Richard Dawson as he celebrated Thanksgiving with everyone by presenting Celebrity Family Feud from 1985, and "The Battle of the TV Stars". Also tune in Sunday Night at 11:30pm Eastern for "The Joker's Wild!" This week it really is getting wild. The contestant has already been on 3 episodes, and won over 7 games, and you'll recognize him with his plaid suit, so stay tuned to see if he wins again! And that's it for today's update...

News Update:

Before today's update, I'd like you all to take a moment of silence for the loss of yet another Game Show great of the 1950's, 60's and 70's, Steve Allen passed away of heart failure at the age of 78, while visiting his grandchildren and son Bill last Tuesday morning. This gentleman has hosted the revival of I've Got a Secret from 1964-1967 and 1972-1973. He was a regular panelist on What's My Line in the 1950's, he hosted his own Variety Show in 1956. He also appeared on many game shows including, Password, The $20,000 Pyramid and Match Game, and he finally hosted a network Variety show on NBC in 1981. A&E will be airing a special presentation of Biography about the life of Steve this weekend, as well, Game Show Network has set aside their scheduled programming for Sunday Night to air 2 special classic episodes that Steve Allen appeared on: What's My Line and I've Got a Secret, and those will be this week's Sunday Night in Black & White... So let us all remember his many accomplishments in his life, for this great man, Steve Allen.

Robinson, and moderator is John Charles Daly. At 10:30pm Eastern is "I've Got A Secret". This episode originally aired on February 27,1967. The "Panel" on this episode of "I've Got A Secret" is Bill Cullen, Henry Morgan, Bess Myerson and Betsy Palmer with the special Guest: Woody Allen.
